How do you deflate the balloons without popping them?

A: We don't really enjoy the sound of popping balloons so when we deflate them we pull on the tied end and cut into the now flattened and stretched part of the latex. Occasionally they will still pop while the air is rushing out but the more you practice and get a feel for the balloons, the less popping sound you'll have.
